Celebrating Life

This weekend, we celebrated Mother's Day and I see that as a celebration of life and love everywhere. So today I decided to come out of my shell and post a little tribute to one of the brightest lights in my life... my Jerry. Since he came into our world quite abruptly six weeks ago, he has been one of the highlights of our life.

Yes, there are already too many kittens and puppies on this earth, and for those poor creatures, today is a bleak and meaningless time. But just for today, I'm going to focus on one little bundle of love that personifies all the love I have for every single furry one in the world, big or small, wild or tame. He is my constant joy, a reminder of all that is fresh and new and wondrous in the world around me.

His curiosity is addictive and his playfulness captivating... so I thought I'd share just a glimpse of him with all of you today as I celebrate far more than just mothers, but rather the creation of all life, and the beauty to be found within.

I also want to offer huge thankful hugs to Em today, for all the help she's given me recently with this blog. Em, of course, you are free to post as often as you like... and anyone else who would be interested in posting once, or twice, or much more, please just let me know!
